Former African champions, Enyimba FC are now leaders of the Nigeria Professional football league after eight matches played so far.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men in the second half of the game as Anthony Omaka was shown straight red for using his elbow on Chinedu Ohanachom.
The Solid Miners almost scored the equaliser late in the game, but Chinedu Ohanachum headed a cross against the post with goalkeeper John Noble beaten.
Enyimba held on for the win that saw them move to the top of the table with 18 points from eight games, while Nasarawa United slipped to 6th
