Former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo visited the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje at his residence on Sunday
Mr. Dokubo's visit was to congratulate Mr. Gaduje on his emergence as the National Chairman of the APC.
Photos from the visit were shared by the APC on its official X (Formerly Twitter) account on Sunday.
The images portray Dokubo and Ganduje engaged in conversation and exchanging pleasantries, capturing the congenial atmosphere of the meeting.
In June, Dokubo had paid a similar visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu President Bola Tinubu at the presidential villa, Abuja which sparked controversy.
Dokubo has been one of Tinubu’s staunchest supporters and backed the then All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in the run-up to the 2023 elections.
Dokubo has also backed some of the president’s policies like the removal of subsidy on petrol.
