Just In! Tinubu's Special Assistant on Public Affairs Resigns

The Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on public affairs has resigned.

Dr. Aliyu Audu who tendered his resignation in a letter dated 8th of June 2025 and addressed to the President through the Chief of state to the president dd not provide any reason for his action.

Dr. Audu was appointed to the position on the 9th of October, 2023.

Part of the resignation letter reads " I remain grateful to you Mr. President for the opportunity to serve my fatherland under your visionary leadership. I especially wish to thank Mr. Ajuri Ngelale, the former Special adviser on Media and Publicity whose confidence in me despite our brief acquaintance led to my nomination on the 26th of August 2023".
