Suspended Plateau APC Chairman Urges Calm

Suspended State Caretaker Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau, Chief Letep Dabang, has called for calm among members of the party, following his suspension.



The APC National Secretariat had on Friday asked Chief Letep Dabang, to step aside and allow investigations into his alleged anti-party activities.


Chief Dabang in a statement on Saturday in Jos called on members of the party to avoid any action that may overheat the polity and bring disunity among members of the party.


He said that the unity of the party was critical at this moment when elections were approaching.


“As a faithful and committed party man, I welcome any decision taken by the leadership of the party such as the latest one which is a mere investigation. I believe, I will be given a fair hearing and will overcome the temporary challenges".

The Suspended Party Chairman called on party faithful to believe in due process promising that they shall all smile in the end.


He urged his followers not to take the laws into his/her hands, ratherhe asked them to keeping working as a team.


Chief Dabang said he is always committed to ensuring that the APC remains strong..
