Four teams have made it through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after Wednesday’s fixtures.

They are: Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Chelsea and Benfica.

Bayern booked their place with a 3-0 aggregate win over Paris Saint-Germain.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored against his former club as Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 on Wednesday to seal a 3-0 aggregate victory and qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Cameroon striker put Bayern ahead on the night just past the hour in Germany and Serge Gnabry added a late second for the six-time European champions, condemning PSG to a second successive last-16 exit.

The Bundesliga champions had won 1-0 at the Parc des Princes.

Tottenham suffered another cup exit when they lost 1-0 on aggregate against AC Milan in the Champions League first round knockout on Wednesday night.

Antonio Conte’s men were unable to overhaul the first-leg deficit at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and they were not helped when defender Cristian Romero was sent off on 78 minutes, reducing them to 10 men.

The Serie A side qualified with a 1-0 aggregate.
