APC Governorship Aspirant, Sunday Biggs, Concludes Tour Of Southern Zone of Plateau State

The political space is gathering momentum ahead of the primaries of Political Parties as they prepare for the 2023 general elections.




Many of the governorship aspirants in plateau state have stepped up their consultation with important stakeholders and delegates as they convince party faithful of their capacity govern the state if given the mandate.


One of such aspirants is Mr. Sunday Garba Biggs who declared his intention to run for the office of the governor of Plateau state last month.


The consultation tour took him to Mikang, Shendam, Kanam, Quan-Pan, Wase, Langtang North and Langtang South local government areas.


Among those visited include traditional rulers, local government chairmen and their legislative arms in addition to the party leadership.


At the palace of the Long- Gamai of Shendam; Martins Shaldas (III), the governorship aspirant said the traditional institution remains an important connect in the governance process.


The Long- Gamai identified the Public service of Mr. Biggs under successive administrations in the state which he said had prepared him to aspire for the office of the governor.


The reception accorded the gubernatorial aspirant was warm and receptive in all of the places visited.


Addressing the party leadership in all the local government areas visited, Mr. Biggs emphasized that his desire is to give the state a facelift and to give citizens quality leadership that is geared towards economic and social development.
